  • Simple Solutions is a Registered Training Organisation. We offer Subsidised Training as a Skills Assure Supplier. We specialise in the community services sector offering qualifications from a level I to IV. We also offer consultancy services through our RTO.

  • Simple Solutions is a registered NDIS provider. We offer supported independent living support services, community access care and short-term accommodation. We also offer skills development, functional movement and unique employment opportunities for our clients.

Training FAQs

  • The Queensland Government provides subsidies to eligible participants under the Certificate 3 Guarantee and Certificate IV Higher Level Skills Funding.

  • Our courses are delivered online, with a rolling intake, so you can enrol and commence at any time to start your online learning journey...

  • Students have 12 months full time or 24 months part time to complete their studies from course enrolment date.

    As learning is self-paced, students can complete at any time before their expiry date.

  • Upon enrolment you are assigned a trainer that will guide you through your studies via email, phone, text or face to face meetings at one of training centres. We also offer additional support through Study Hub. Study Hub runs in Hervey Bay on Thursday mornings from 9:00 am to 12 noon. During this time, students will have access to our computers, administration staff and trainers for assistance.

  • Most of our courses require students to complete a minimum number of hours in practical, unpaid, work placement (if not employed in the sector) or relevant paid work to complete their course.

    Our Vocational Placement Coordinator is on hand to find placement for you.

    If you do have a potential host organisation you would like to be placed with, please let us know, however we cannot guarantee we will be able to place with this facility.

  • For optimal access to our online learning platform, Moodle, a desktop or laptop computer is ideal and an internet connection.

    Tablets can make navigation problematic and is not ideal.

    The use of a phone is not recommended.

  • Our Certificate III in Individual Support is offered in a classroom setting at various areas throughout Queensland. We have training centres in Hervey Bay, Sunshine Coast, Maryborough, Gladstone, Bundaberg and Rockhampton.

NDIS Services FAQs

  • They can cook, clean, take people to the doctors and clients personal care. As well as taking people on outings such as to the zoo, football games, movies and the grocery store.

  • They can vary from 2, 4, 6 and 8 hours shifts.

  • It would be an advantage.

  • Certificate III in Individual support is desirable. If you are interested in undertaking this training contact Simple Solutions.

  • Support workers require a Blue Card and an NDIS worker Screening Clearance.

  • Having a first aid certificate would be desirable for employers. If you would like to undertake this training contact our office.

  • You should receive ongoing training as you progress in your career.

  • Aged care support workers provide support to elderly by looking are their health and wellbeing in aged-care facilities or help maintain independence for clients wanting to remain in their own home. While disability support workers provide support to people in the community living with physical disabilities or mental health conditions. They offer household, personal and emotional support for clients.
